Sacrament of Holy Matrimony

For couples who are parishioners of this parish and wish to marry at the Sacred Heart Cathedral are required to attend the Pre-Marriage Course before scheduling an appointment to meet with the Priests at this Parish. This Pre-Nuptial Inquiry interview should take place at within 6 MONTHS after completing the Pre-Marriage Course.

The following documents (full) submission is a prerequisite before meeting the priest for a Pre-nuptial Inquiry Interview:

MR. DOCUMENTS:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Identity Card or Passport
  3. Baptism Certificate. (it is REQUIRED to provide a letter from the Parish Priest of the church where you were baptized.)
  4. Confirmation Certificate
  5. Engagement Agreement (if any)
  6. Pre-Marriage Course Certificate
  7. Two (2) Passport size photos

MISS. DOCUMENTS:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Identity Card or Passport
  3. Baptism Certificate. (it is REQUIRED to provide a letter from the Parish Priest of the church where you were baptized.)
  4. Confirmation Certificate
  5. Engagement Agreement (if any)
  6. Pre-Marriage Course Certificate
  7. Two (2) Passport size photos

WITNESS DOCUMENTS (CATHOLIC MARRIED COUPLE):

  1. Identity Card
  2. Baptism Certificate
  3. Confirmation Certificate
  4. Church Marriage Certificate

NOTE:
1. The date of marriage can only be decided during the Pre-Nuptial interview with the parish priests.
2. Date blocking by couples is NOT ALLOWED.
